HIGH COURT SESSION

The special session, held at the Justice Oputa High Court Complex, Owerri, was convened as a traditional judicial farewell to the late legal practitioner and a commemoration of his life and contributions to the legal profession.

Speaking on behalf of the Acting Chief Judge of Imo State, Hon. Justice I. O. Oguagua, Hon. Justice Innocent. Maduabuchi. Njaka described the deceased as a devoted Christian and one who was granted the rarer gift of time because eighty years is not a life interrupted.

The Judiciary noted that his death has left a vacuum among his colleagues, describing the special court session as a fitting occasion to pay the departed lawyer his due honour. LATE CHIEF SIR CHUKWUEMEKA SAMUEL OSUJI ESQ, will be remembered for his service to the legal profession, his Christian values and his commitment to humanity.
