IMO STATE NIGERIAN SCOUTS PAY FIRST COURTESY VISIT OF THE YEAR TO THE ACTING CHIEF JUDGE OF IMO STATE

On Monday, 12 January 2026, the Imo State Chapter of the Nigerian Scouts paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Chief Judge of Imo State, Hon. Justice I. O. Agugua, at the Judiciary Headquarters.


The visit commenced with an opening prayer, followed by a presentation outlining the purpose and agenda of the courtesy call. In her address, the Acting Chief Judge emphasized the need for the Nigerian Scouts to conduct all their activities in strict compliance with the Constitution of the Nigerian Scouts and in line with established principles of accountability.


Hon. Justice Agugua further highlighted the rationale behind the establishment of the Nigerian Scouts, noting its critical role in promoting discipline, civic responsibility, and positive values among young people. She stressed that scouting remains an effective platform for grooming the younger generation to become responsible, law-abiding, and impactful members of society.


The Acting Chief Judge commended the organization for its social and community-based initiatives and encouraged sustained efforts aimed at instilling discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility in young scouts.


The visit concluded with the formal induction of new members into the Nigerian Scouts.
